  • Glen Ord Distillery was founded in 1838, making it one of the oldest in Scotland.

    Situated on the edge of the Black Isle west of Inverness, Glen Ord continues to malt its own barley and to use the long fermentation and slow distillation methods followed there for generations.

    January – February
    Monday – Saturday: 11am – 4pm,

    Easter Weekend
    Friday 25th March, Saturday 26th March, Monday 28th March: 10am – 5pm
    Easter Sunday 27th March: 12noon – 5pm

    March – October
    Monday – Saturday: 10am – 5pm

    June,July & August: open to 6pm Monday to Friday
    Sundays (June to September): 12noon – 5pm

    November – December
    Monday – Saturday: 11am – 4pm

    Christmas & New Year
    19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st Dec: Open 10am to 4pm
    Closed 25th & 26th Dec and 1st & 2nd Jan. Re-opens Tuesday 3rd January
